Construction & Building
June 26 – June 30 (full)
A week filled with activities to get kids moving, building, designing and thinking, including: Lincoln Logs, Kapla Blocks, train towns, board games, and thousands of LEGOS. Children will have tremendous freedom to explore patterning, designing and building as far and wide as they desire.
July 3 – July 7 (full)
GROSS! This is FUN! While the children create and play with an awesome mess, critical neural pathways are formed in the brain through tactile experience, especially during the early developmental years. In this camp the children will make their own play-dough, create their own gooey-goo and other ooey crafts.
Fairy Gardens & Earthy Crafts
July 10 – July 14 (full)
Natural & reused-repurposed-recycled crafts camp! Lavender & rosemary wands, driftwood sailboats, and so much more! The children will create and discover throughout the classroom, garden and playground.
Painting with Pasta & Playing with Food
July 17 – July 21 (full)
Each day will be filled with foodie art and crafty fun: painting with pasta, stamping with potatoes, celery fish, constructing with lavender sticks & grapes and more!
Under the Sea
July 24 – July 28 (full)
A touch and experience camp, with the guidance of guest speaker Dan Moon from Advanced Reef Management! Put on your scuba gear and spend the week with chocolate chip sea stars, clownfish, sea snails, anemones, spiny sea urchins and beautiful saltwater creatures. The children will get a chance to observe and touch these beautiful animals in their saltwater environment and learn about their anatomy, feeding habits and natural environments.
Garden to Table (full)
July 31 – August 4
Spend a week slicing, dicing, eating and drinking! Discover how fun fruits & veggies can be! Empowering kids with the information and resources to make their own best food and health choices is critical to lifelong wellness and vitality. In this camp, the children will learn about, source, work with and enjoy fresh, local organic goods and create specialty smoothies, juices and delicious healthy snacks, building up their own personal repertoire of healthy, do-it-myself, go-to dishes.
Bugging in the Garden
August 7 – August 11 (full)
Symbiotic relationships occur naturally when different life forms interact with each other, which is an integral part of our curriculum as lifelong learners and gardeners. The children will enjoy discovering insect garden helpers, tending to our garden and enjoying the fruits of their labor and other garden helpers.
Tiempo Para Fiesta!!
August 14 – August 18 (full)
Time to celebrate! The children will help make fresh pico de gallo and enjoy festive colorful holidays commonly celebrated in Mexico! This class will be filled with cultural art, crafts and delicious fresh foods. Grab your apron and passports and let’s fiesta!
